Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actress, and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents She began her career as a child actor soon after her move to the United States. She gained notoriety for her roles in AT&T television commercials as saleswoman Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from in 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). Additionally she was a regular series on Yahoo! After being featured in the TV pilot unaired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl in Marvel Rising. Vayntrub, was a Jewish person was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents, who were both at the age of two, came to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five because of the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she quit her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained the GED. After that she was able to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. She was a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, and learned Improv comedy.
